You can delete your Moneyment account at any time. Account deletion permanently removes your financial records from our active systems and cannot be undone.
1. Open the Moneyment app and sign in. 2. Go to the More tab → Settings → Security. 3. Tap Delete Account. 4. Confirm your identity (enter your password, or request a one-time code if you signed in with Google or Apple). 5. Confirm deletion. Deletion is processed immediately.
If you cannot access the app or your account, send an email to info@moneyment.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request and confirm deletion by email, typically within 7 business days.
When your account is deleted, the following financial records are permanently removed from our active systems: • All loans and EMI records you created • All lending records (money lent to others) • Bank account and card associations • EMI payment history • App settings and preferences stored server-side Data stored only on your device (Free / local storage mode) is not automatically removed — uninstall the app or clear its data from your device settings to remove it.
To prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and support account recovery enquiries, we retain a minimal internal record after self-initiated account deletion. This record includes your name, email address, authentication information (password hash or social-login provider identifier), and subscription status. It is stored in an access-controlled internal archive and is not used for any commercial purpose. If you wish to request permanent removal of this retained record as well, contact us at info@moneyment.app. We will process such requests in accordance with applicable privacy law.
