By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Moneyment ("Moneyment" or "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the App and uninstall it from your device.
Moneyment is a personal finance management application that helps users track loans, EMIs, payments, and money lent to or borrowed from others. The App provides tools for organising, tracking, calculating, and analysing financial information entered by users. Moneyment is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
You may use Moneyment in local storage mode (Free users) or cloud storage mode (Pro subscription required) for cloud synchronisation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, password, PIN, and other authentication information and for all activity carried out through your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and must not impersonate another person or create an account using information that you do not have the right to use.
Moneyment offers a free tier with limited features and a Pro subscription with additional capabilities, which may include unlimited entries, cloud synchronisation, advanced financial insights, and data export. The specific features included in Pro may change from time to time. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law or the policies of the applicable app store or payment provider. Subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled before the applicable renewal date in accordance with the relevant app store or payment provider's procedures. Refunds and billing disputes are governed by the Moneyment Refund Policy, subject to the applicable payment platform's policies and applicable law.
You agree not to: • Misuse Moneyment or use it for unlawful purposes. • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, its servers, databases, or related systems. • Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the App. • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except where expressly permitted by applicable law. • Circumvent security, authentication, subscription, or access controls. • Use the App to store, transmit, or process unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious information. • Use the App in a manner that infringes the rights of another person. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you enter into Moneyment.
Moneyment is a financial tracking, calculation, and organisational tool only. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, lending, credit, accounting, or other professional advice. Moneyment does not recommend, arrange, facilitate, or provide loans, investments, financial products, or credit. You should consult an appropriately qualified professional before making significant financial decisions.
Moneyment does not independently verify the financial information entered by users. Calculations and figures displayed by the App may differ from figures provided by your bank, lender, financial institution, or other service provider due to differences in calculation methods, interest-rate conventions, rounding, transaction dates, fees, charges, taxes, payment processing dates, or other factors. Statements, account information, outstanding balances, interest calculations, payment schedules, and other figures provided directly by your bank, lender, or financial institution should be treated as the authoritative records. You should verify important financial information directly with the relevant institution before making payments or other financial commitments.
We take reasonable steps to maintain the security, availability, and reliability of Moneyment and the data processed through the App. However, we do not guarantee that the App or its services will always be uninterrupted, secure, available, accurate, complete, or error-free, or that data will never be lost, corrupted, altered, or become temporarily or permanently unavailable. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Moneyment and its developer, service providers, and other parties involved in operating the App shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, profits, business, financial opportunity, or other losses arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the App. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Where appropriate, we will provide notice of material changes through the App or other reasonable means. Continued use of Moneyment after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Moneyment if you violate these Terms or where reasonably necessary to protect the App, its users, or our systems. You may delete your account at any time using the account-deletion functionality provided within the App.
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
We intend to maintain and update Moneyment as reasonably practicable. However, we do not guarantee that the App or any particular feature will remain available, supported, or updated indefinitely. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or permanently shut down the App, any feature, or any part of the service where required by applicable law, regulation, a court or governmental authority, changes in technology or third-party services, security or operational considerations, or where we determine that continued development, operation, or maintenance of the App is no longer commercially or technically viable. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide users with advance notice of material discontinuation or changes and, where available, an opportunity to export their cloud-stored data.
Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate records and backups of important financial information. Although Pro users may have access to cloud storage and synchronisation, cloud storage is not intended to replace the user's own financial records or records maintained by banks, lenders, or other financial institutions. We do not guarantee that data will never be lost, corrupted, altered, or become temporarily or permanently unavailable. Users should periodically export or otherwise retain copies of important information where appropriate.
Certain Moneyment features may use automated calculations, algorithms, summaries, projections, or financial insights based on information entered by the user. These outputs are provided for informational and organisational purposes only and may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or incorrect assumptions. Such outputs should not be relied upon as financial, investment, tax, legal, lending, or other professional advice. Users are responsible for independently verifying important information before relying upon it.
Moneyment is an independent personal finance management tool and is not a bank, lender, creditor, financial institution, credit bureau, or financial advisor. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Moneyment has no affiliation with, and does not represent, any bank, lender, credit-card issuer, or other financial institution whose information may be entered or displayed by a user. The App does not alter, modify, settle, or otherwise affect any user's actual financial obligations to such institutions.
Moneyment relies on third-party services and infrastructure to provide certain aspects of the App. These may include hosting, deployment, database, cloud infrastructure, application updates, authentication, subscription processing, and other technical services. Moneyment's production application infrastructure, including deployment, hosting, database management, and autoscaling, may be provided through Replit, Inc. and its infrastructure and service providers. Third-party providers may process information as necessary to provide their services to Moneyment. The availability and functionality of certain features may therefore depend on third-party services. We are not responsible for interruptions, changes, failures, or discontinuation of third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.
Where subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or another third-party platform, the purchase may also be subject to the terms, conditions, billing policies, and refund policies of that platform. Subscription management, cancellation, billing, and refunds may be handled by the applicable platform in accordance with its policies and applicable law.
Moneyment, including its software, design, interface, branding, logos, graphics, text, functionality, and other original content, is owned by or licensed to the Developer and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the App.
You retain responsibility for the information and data that you enter into Moneyment. You represent that you have the right to enter and use such information and that your use of the App does not violate any applicable law or the rights of another person. You must not knowingly use the App to store, transmit, or process unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious information.
You are responsible for protecting your device, password, PIN, authentication credentials, and any other security mechanisms used to access Moneyment. You should not share your credentials or security information with others. We are not responsible for unauthorised access resulting from your failure to maintain appropriate security of your device or credentials, except to the extent such responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
Our collection, use, storage, processing, and protection of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of the terms governing your use of Moneyment. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review the Privacy Policy. Where there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding the processing of personal information, the applicable provisions of the Privacy Policy and applicable law will govern.
We may add, modify, restrict, or remove features from Moneyment from time to time. Some features may be introduced, changed, or discontinued without notice where necessary for security, technical, legal, regulatory, operational, or other legitimate reasons. We do not guarantee that any particular feature available at the time of download or subscription will remain available for the entire duration of your use of the App.
We will not be responsible for any delay, interruption, failure, or unavailability of Moneyment caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil disturbances, governmental actions, changes in law or regulation, failures of telecommunications or internet infrastructure, power failures, cyber incidents, or failures of third-party service providers.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a competent authority, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms at any time shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies or terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Developer regarding your use of Moneyment and supersede any prior understandings relating to the App, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
